Nikki Oliver AGAC-NP-BC

Nikki’s nursing career began in her hometown of Park Rapids as a Certified Nurses’ assistant where she cared for residents in long term care. Nikki moved to the Fargo-Moorhead area where she completed her practical nursing and registered nursing degrees. After obtaining her RN, she worked at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo on the Medical-Specialty unit, which specialized in medically detoxing patients from drugs and alcohol. From there, she transitioned into Sanford’s Wound Care center where she cared for patients with acute and chronic wounds. While working at the Wound Center, she obtained certifications in Wound Care, Ostomy Care and Foot Care. She also completed her master’s degree in nursing education and began teaching part time at Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Moorhead.

After a move to the Detroit Lakes area in 2018, Nikki began teaching full-time at MState and serves as Director of the associate degree nursing program. Nikki also earned a post-master's certificate as a nurse practitioner in adult and geriatric acute care in 2020 and has been working part-time with Matrix Medical network to provide in-home complete health assessments. She most recently completed the Elite NP’s Functional Medicine certification and is excited to start collaborating with patients in a functional medicine approach to their health and wellness.

In addition to her work, Nikki has co-authored an article on Healing Diabetic Foot Ulcers and presented at Sanford’s Diabetes and Wound Care Conferences. She lives with her husband and three children in the rural Detroit Lakes area where she enjoys gardening and taking part in the Lakes Area Farmer’s market.

Jessica Larson

RN, MFR Therapist & Practice Coordinator

I am honored and excited to be a part of the team at IT&W.

I have almost 20 years of medical experience as a Nurse and 8 years as a Health and Wellness Coach.  I have always been passionate about health and wellness and in the past several years I have been eager to learn more of a Holistic approach to helping better serve myself and my clients. Health and Wellness is a top priority and after talking with Erin Lindberg about our beliefs and approach to Health and Wellness I knew IT&W was going to be a good fit.

I was born and raised in Alaska and moved to Detroit Lakes, MN in 2017. I love all things outdoors, especially fishing, camping and hanging with friends and family. I am happily married to my Husband of 15 years, and we have 2 kids that love all sports. You will probably see me in the community between the courts, rinks and ball fields.  I am excited to work side by side with the staff and clients.

What Other People Just Like You Are Saying About Integrative Therapies & Wellness…

Scoliosis Relief

Hope She Had To Share

Pediatric Scoliosis

"When our daughter was diagnosed with a 28° curvature in her spine they gave us two equally unattractive options to treat her scoliosis. One was to brace her for 18 to 20 hours a day. The other was to wait until the curve reached 45°, which it almost certainly would,  and then subject her to major spinal surgery.   We decided that those two options weren’t good enough and started doing research. I was discussing those options with Erin one day while she treated me for a hip problem.  She explain to me how bones can be moved, but without addressing the issue of the underlying fascia the movement would be temporary.  We opted to have our daughter practice Schroth exercises, be fitted for a nighttime brace, and go to Erin for MFR treatment....you can see the results for yourself (pictures to the right).  She went from a 28° curve to no curve at all in less than a year.  It is our firm belief that without the MFR, the Schroth Therapy and the bracing would have failed.  I thank God for Erin every day."
