At Integrative Therapies and Wellness our staff have found that many of the clients we serve are exhausted from chasing symptoms. They’ve tried the medications, supplements, and quick fixes—yet still don’t feel like themselves. Our approach to health and healing at Integrative Therapies and Wellness is different. We look at the whole person, listen to the body’s signals, and work with our clients to uncover why symptoms are happening, not just how to quiet them.
One system we consistently find overlooked in chronic illness, inflammation, and hormonal imbalance is the lymphatic system. When lymph flow becomes sluggish, the body has a harder time clearing waste, regulating inflammation, and supporting immune balance. Over time, this can contribute to pain, swelling, fatigue, brain fog, and a general feeling of being “stuck.”
To support this system gently and effectively, we often combine Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), Vibration Platform Therapy, Red Light Therapy, Myofascial Release (MFR), and/or Bio Charger Therapy as part of a personalized, root-cause care plan.
The lymphatic system plays a vital role in:
Unlike the heart, which pumps blood continuously, the lymphatic system relies on movement, muscle contraction, breathing, and tissue mobility to function properly. When these inputs are lacking—or when tissues are restricted—lymph flow can slow, and symptoms may develop gradually.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a light, rhythmic, hands-on therapy designed to stimulate and guide lymph flow toward lymph nodes for proper drainage. This technique is very gentle and calming to the nervous system.
MLD can:
MLD works best when the tissues are able to move freely—this is where other supportive therapies become important.
Fascia is the connective tissue web that surrounds muscles, organs, nerves, and lymphatic vessels. When fascia becomes tight or restricted—often due to injury, chronic stress, inflammation, or poor posture—it can compress lymphatic vessels and limit drainage.
Myofascial Release is a slow, sustained manual technique that helps soften and release these restrictions.
Benefits of MFR include:
By addressing fascial restrictions first, lymphatic therapies can work more efficiently and comfortably.
Maybe you have seen these on social media lately, as they have become popular for weight loss, but their benefits go beyond the scale. Vibration Platform Therapy provides low-impact mechanical vibration that causes muscles to contract and relax rapidly, as well as stimulating the connective tissue (fascia). This gentle movement helps stimulate circulation and lymphatic flow without placing stress on joints.
Benefits we often see include:
For clients who are fatigued, inflamed, or unable to tolerate traditional exercise, vibration platform therapy offers a safe and effective way to encourage lymph movement.
Red and near-infrared light therapy is a simple, non-invasive treatment that uses low-level wavelengths of red light to improve various health conditions. It’s like giving your body a little energy boost! The light penetrates your skin and reaches your cells, stimulating them to produce more energy.
This increased energy helps your lymphatic system move fluid and waste more efficiently, which can reduce swelling and puffiness. It’s like turning up the power in your body’s natural detox system.
Bio Charger Therapy: Supporting Cellular Energy and Nervous System Balance
Bio Charger therapy uses a combination of light, frequencies, harmonics, and subtle energy to support the body at a cellular level. From a functional medicine perspective, this therapy helps create an internal environment where healing can occur more efficiently.
Clients often report:
When the nervous system is supported, lymphatic flow and detox pathways often function more effectively.
Rather than relying on one approach, we use these therapies together to support the body from multiple angles:
This combination helps remove obstacles to healing, rather than forcing the body to compensate.
In functional medicine, we don’t believe in suppressing symptoms or defaulting to medication without understanding root causes. These therapies are tools—used thoughtfully and intentionally—as part of a larger plan that may also include nutrition, lifestyle changes, lab testing, and stress support.
Our goal is to help your body function the way it was designed to—supporting long-term health, resilience, and prevention of chronic illness.
